Compliments Gallery Announces Exciting Move to Cape Porpoise’s Red Barn

Kennebunkport, Maine – October 1, 2025

After 44 wonderful years in Dock Square, we’re thrilled to announce the next chapter for Compliments Gallery: our new home in Cape Porpoise, Kennebunkport. Since our founding, we’ve been proud to offer distinctive items made in America by our country’s leading artisans, and we’re excited to continue that tradition in our new space, our iconic Red Barn on Langsford Road just off Route 9.

The move presents an exciting opportunity following the retirement of our friends at Farm + Table, a decision which made the Red Barn available. Our new location, just a short two-minute drive from Dock Square, offers a welcomed new feature: on-site parking for our guests.

Renovations are already underway to transform the interior of the Red Barn. While preserving its historic character, we're infusing the space with the same artistry, care, and high-quality craftsmanship that our community has come to love.

Though the setting will be new, the spirit of Compliments Gallery will remain unchanged: a celebration of American artists and their crafts, distinctive jewelry, and unique finds that inspire. You can also rest assured that our trusted staff, a familiar and cherished part of the Compliments Gallery experience, will be with us every step of the way.

To make this transition smooth and joyful, we will remain open at our current Dock Square location through Kennebunkport’s Christmas Prelude, and close on December 15, 2025. We will be able to assist with telephone, web, and mail orders throughout the winter and will officially welcome you to our new Cape Porpoise home in May of 2026.
